School Student/Parent Compact
Working cooperatively with parents to provide for their participation in the successful education of their children agree to:
- Provide high quality curriculum and instruction in a supportive and effective learning environment
- Give students the help needed to meet and exceed the state's performance standards
- Describe and explain the curriculum and proficiencies
- Provide for parent-teacher meetings
- Provide reports on student progress
- Provide in service training workshops for parents
Working cooperatively with staff for the successful education of their children agree to:
- Monitor student attendance and punctuality
- Assure homework completion
- Encourage motivation and a positive attitude
- Communicate with teachers when appropriate
- Attend parent-teacher conferences and Back-To-School-Night Program
- Believe that I have the potential to learn
- Show respect for myself, my school, and other people
- Always do my best in my work and my behavior
- Work cooperatively with students and staff
- Come to school prepared with my homework and supplies
We agree to work together, to the best of our abilities, as educators, parents and students to fulfill our common goal of improving school programs and the school climate.
