The ALSCS Parent Teacher Organization strives for 100% participation from the parents of our school. Communication between parents, administrators and teachers is critical to the goal of developing a model school for future leaders.
The PTO understands that the success of their children and the school begins by committing to two very important standards:
- Successful schools start their school day earlier, and stay later. In order to teach more, you must allow for additional hours per school day.
- The parents ALL participate and support these schools in many different ways.
The ALS Charter School parents give of their time and their talents for activities, field-trips, and fundraisers. Each class needs parent liaisons to serve as a go-between for the school and the parents. There are numerous activities and services that you may volunteer for as a parent.
